As a lifelong Oregonian, Jesse understands the communities and courts he serves. Jesse grew up in the Willamette Valley, where he learned the value of hard work from his family. Jesse's father owned and operated a construction business, and watching him build a business through dedication, integrity, and persistence shaped Jesse's approach to serving clients. Those values continue to guide his practice today.
Jesse is dedicated to representing individuals and families facing some of life's most difficult legal challenges. His practice focuses on juvenile law, including dependency and delinquency matters, as well as adult criminal defense.
Jesse earned his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, where he served on Law Review and developed strong legal research and writing skills. During law school, Jesse also participated in Moot Court, strengthening his oral advocacy and appellate skills. Before law school, Jesse attended Western Oregon University and Chemeketa Community College, where he competed in Mock Trial.
Jesse believes every client deserves an attorney who listens carefully, communicates honestly, and provides strong, thoughtful advocacy at every stage of the case.
Spencer grew up about an hour south of Nashville, Tennessee before moving to Oregon for college. Shortly after arriving in Oregon, he enlisted in the Oregon Army National Guard as an infantryman. Spencer was enlisted for nearly ten years before attending law school at Willamette University. His time in the military included a deployment to Afghanistan, a diplomatic mission to Vietnam, and coordination of military assets to support the State of Oregon during large scale wildfire emergencies.
While in law school, Spencer began working for a local criminal defense firm in Salem, Oregon where he had the opportunity to build experience assisting on cases at the trial and appellate level. After graduating as valedictorian of his law school class, Spencer moved to South Dakota where he represented clients in criminal defense, domestic relations, and civil litigation. Spencer returned to Oregon in 2024 and is enjoying the beautiful Northwest. Spencer's varied life experience, along with experience in several different legal practice areas, provides him a unique perspective when working with clients.
Spencer approaches every client differently and recognizes each case will present distinctive challenges and opportunities.
